Machine for Dowel-hole Drilling and Insertion - DBE1

The DBE1 has been specially developed for drilling, gluing and dowel insertion in front doors, room doors and lifting doors, window parts, balcony elements etc. and works with the Ayen-typical precision.

Our tried-and-tested glue valves are also used in our DBE1. They ensure low-wear and low-maintenance glue application. Thanks to our special injection process after the glue nozzle has been immersed in the dowel hole, working with DBE1 is also clean and precise and downstream workpiece cleaning is unnecessary.

The drilling unit including glue nozzle and dowel insertion device is compactly mounted on a laterally movable carriage. The carriage can be moved in 32 mm increments for a maximum of 5 drill holes next to each other and is also height-adjustable by 55 mm. This means that a workpiece can be processed either on the upper, lower or both levels.

Thanks to its microprocessor control and the selection of the drilling position by two rows of switches one above the other, it is possible to determine which of the following steps is to be carried out for each of the 10 drilling positions individually:

• Drilling

• Drilling + glue injection

• Drilling + glue injection + dowel insertion

The cycle time for drilling, glue injection and dowel insertion is max. 5 seconds in total (depending on the dowel dimensions).
